Overview
The Arkon Mk4 Load Bearing System is the result of four generations of development informed directly by operator feedback. It is designed to carry the full weight of modern combat loadouts while maintaining the mobility and access speed that determine outcomes in the field.
Every component of the Arkon Mk4 is engineered to work in concert with Talos protective systems — particularly the Cataphract 3+ flexible plate and Sovereign hard armor — creating a fully integrated protection and load carriage solution from a single Canadian supplier.
Design Philosophy
The modern warfighter does not operate in a single environment or a single role. The Arkon Mk4 is built around the principle that the same carrier should serve equally well in a close-quarters assault role, a mounted vehicle role, and a long-range patrol role — reconfigured in minutes, not hours.
The MOLLE architecture across the front, back, and sides of the Arkon Mk4 allows operators and quartermasters to build mission-specific loadouts without replacing the base system, significantly reducing procurement and logistics overhead.

MOLLE webbing across front panel, back panel, cummerbund, and shoulder straps provides 360-degree attachment options for pouches, accessories, and mission-specific equipment.
Front and rear plate pockets sized to accept SAPI Small through XL. Fully compatible with the Cataphract 3+ flexible plate and Sovereign hard armor insert without modification.
Tool-free cummerbund adjustment accommodates the full range of operator body types. Side plate pockets accept SAPI side plates in 6x6 and 6x8 formats.
Internal hydration bladder sleeve in the back panel accommodates standard military hydration systems. Routing channels keep tubes clear of all adjustment hardware.
Dedicated cable routing channels and radio pouch positions throughout the carrier allow clean communications equipment integration without compromising loadout flexibility.
Configuration Options
